HP Tuners offers two service options for supported 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 vehicles equipped with the E99 ECM. Customers may either upgrade their existing ECM or purchase a new ECM that has already been prepared for use with HP Tuners software.

Once serviced, the E99 ECM can be accessed using VCM Suite for diagnostics, data logging, and supported calibration changes when paired with a compatible interface.

Upgrade your original E99 ECM by sending it to HP Tuners for processing.

• This is a send-in upgrade service.
• ECM must be removed from the vehicle and shipped to HP Tuners.
• Once upgraded, the ECM is returned ready for licensing and use.
• No relearn procedures are required when the ECM is reinstalled in the same vehicle:
  • No immobilizer relearn
  • No crank relearn
  • No “Replace ECM” function
• Universal Credits are not included and must be purchased separately.

Purchase a brand-new E99 ECM that has already been prepared for use with HP Tuners.

• Ideal for minimizing vehicle downtime.
• VIN must be provided at checkout.
• Do not send your original ECM when selecting this option.
• Universal Credits are not included and must be purchased separately.

After upgrading or installing an upgraded E99 ECM, the following are required:

• Compatible HP Tuners interface: MPVI2, MPVI2+, MPVI3, or MPVI4
• Latest version of VCM Suite
• Eight (8) Universal Credits to license the ECM

Universal Credits are not included and must be purchased separately.

• Your modified E99 ECM can only be tuned via the OBDII port with an MPV2, MPVI2+, MPVI3, or MPVI4 interface and the latest version of VCM Suite.
• To tune your E99 ECM, you must license the ECM after upgrading for (8) Universal Credits.
• No other tuning or calibration tools can be used with the ECM (including dealer reflash tools).
• VCM Scanner, dealer diagnostic, and other diagnostic tools will continue to function normally.
• The latest version of VCM Suite can be used to return to stock calibration and/or update to the latest stock calibration.
• If you select the UPGRADE service, there is no need for an IMMO relearn, crank relearn, or the “Replace ECM” function as long as the ECM is returning to the same vehicle it came from.
• Please also allow up to 7 business days for this upgrade service, not including shipping times.

• These ECM/PCM/TCM services are completed at the owner’s risk. HP Tuners will not be responsible for the vehicle, its powertrain, or electronics, nor how the control module is used, calibrated, and its functionality.
• Due to the factory location of the controller in the vehicle, all ECM/PCM/TCMs will exhibit signs of weathering and wear, which is completely normal.
• When utilizing this service there is a possibility that the vehicle will need to be sent to the dealers to be re synced. Purchaser accepts all liability for this activity.

HP Tuners designs and manufactures software and hardware tools for vehicle diagnostics, scanning, logging, calibration, and data acquisition purposes.
